Rating Criteria
Different people look for different things in a playground. My criteria might not be in line with what you value most. You might go to a playground I've rated high and hate it. Or vice versa. But even a bad playground is better than sitting at home in front of a screen. Get out there and have fun.
To get a sense of what the "overall score" means to me, here's a rough guide:
| 90-100 | 80-89 | 70-79 | 60-69 | Below 60 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dad's Pick. These playgrounds are the best in the city, and worth a trip. | Solid. These are probably neighbourhood favourites; drop by if you're in the area. | Meh. Fine if you've got some time to kill, but nothing too special. | Not worth it. If you live in the area, write to your councillor and request a renovation. | Your kid will have more fun playing tag by themselves. |
