Rating Criteria

Different people look for different things in a playground. My criteria might not be in line with what you value most. You might go to a playground I've rated high and hate it. Or vice versa. But even a bad playground is better than sitting at home in front of a screen. Get out there and have fun.

To get a sense of what the "overall score" means to me, here's a rough guide:

90-100 80-89 70-79 60-69 Below 60
Dad's Pick. These playgrounds are the best in the city, and worth a trip.  Solid. These are probably neighbourhood favourites; drop by if you're in the area. Meh. Fine if you've got some time to kill, but nothing too special. Not worth it. If you live in the area, write to your councillor and request a renovation. Your kid will have more fun playing tag by themselves.
